Key Responsibilities:
• Market and Economic Analysis: Conduct research on economic trends, interest rate movements, and macroeconomic data to support the development of fixed income strategies.
• Credit Research: Analyze credit quality, financial statements, and industry trends of issuers across various fixed income sectors, including corporate bonds, municipal bonds, and government debt.
• Portfolio Support: Assist in the management and monitoring of fixed income portfolios, evaluating performance, and helping to implement investment decisions.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Use financial models and tools to assess risk, return, and performance attribution of fixed income investments. Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal teams and clients.
• Trade Execution and Compliance: Support the execution of fixed income trades, ensuring compliance with investment guidelines and regulations.
• Risk Management: Assist in identifying and monitoring risk factors affecting fixed income investments, including interest rate, credit, and liquidity risks.
• Client Interaction: Collaborate with senior team members to respond to client inquiries, providing insights and updates on portfolio performance and market conditions.
You need to have
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience: 1-2 years of experience in fixed income analysis, investment management, or a related financial services role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel, and other financial tools; familiarity with fixed income analytics platforms is a plus.
• Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills with an ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
• Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with an ability to identify trends and patterns from data.
