Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues in a timely manner to ensure minimal downtime and smooth operations.
Perform root cause analysis and recommend solutions to recurring issues.
Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
Ensure continuous improvement of application support processes and documentation.
Perform regular system health checks and maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
Manage incident response and ensure timely communication with stakeholders on system performance and availability.
Support application deployment and configuration changes as needed. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements to systems and processes.
You need to have:
3-5 years of experience in application support or a similar role, preferably in a Linux environment.
Strong knowledge of Linux commands, shell scripting, and system administration.
Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., CheckMk, Grafana) and log management solutions.
Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving issues in a production environment.
Understanding of database management and SQL for basic troubleshooting.
Familiar with networking concepts and web applications.
Ability to document processes and troubleshoot guides for internal use.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with a proactive and detail-oriented approach.
Strong communication skills, able to effectively interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
